OK. I've been out of circulation for about 10 days. I have no current news (as I haven't spoken to anyone in the band since the last gig, really!! Ahhh, holidays!) but:
1) Thanks for everyone who made an effort to turn out for the benefit show on Easter Sunday. We won't mention the timing issues. Thanks to Lucas S8.
2) The ONC gig at Alienistic is still go as far as I know. Mucho flyers went at Sanctum. Mmm.
3) May Day's Underworld slot is also on the horizon.
We may now have the bass for the demo recorded.... possibly in the same way that I may have recorded something resembling guitar parts a couple of weeks back. I may also get round to updating the gigs section.

Couple of things...
First thing, Mario's got his visa sorted out, so he'll be hanging around for a while. Congratulations Mario! :-)
Second, we're playing a gig @ Alienistic on Saturday 19th, along with Inner Rage & Army of Flying Robots. Cost will be £3.50ish, and details to come.
Thirdly, still no details on the Sanctum thing.
Fourthly, there's a possiblity that we'll be playing the Underworld in May. When we know what's happening we'll tell you.
Fifth, stuck in the writing process for the new song. Arse.
Sixth, recording has temporarily stalled due to technological issues. May be working round this later in the week. Arse 2.
Finally, yeah, been a while since there were any updates. Got some photos & stuff to put up, but I've not been near Photoshop for long enough to do the honours.
It surely are great essay ideas.

It looks like we may be up for another gig. Latish notice, but we're probably playing at the Camden Barfly on Sunday 6th February. Thanks to Rob for the suggestion!
Only 2 other bands this time (yup, a proper gig!) - Enter Shikari, and Sone. Don't know what either sound like, but it's a gig...!
Doors probably 6:30ish, cost probably £5ish, 1st band on 7:30ish pm. I don't have a stage time for us. Organised, aren't I?
No, but I'll post more when I know.
EDIT: Another band, Red Nettle, has been added to the bill.

Vengefest last night. It was funny. We unleashed* metal. I a) kicked out my lead before 1st song and b) got totally caught out at the beginning of 'Barrymore'! Yay for professionalism.
Seriously, Tam & myself were sat listening to the first band going 'we are sooo out of place!', so it could have been a total disaster. A few people came up & said they liked it, which is cool at least. Hi to those guys if you're reading this.
The 'ups' list: The poor people (4 Crew) who came down to see us, the Vengefest peeps for inviting us on, the guys we borrowed kit off (Gutworm & Stand Aside I think), and the 'earlycomers' for immoral & technical support.
I've not been home yet so I smell & the people I work with are avoiding me...!
* If you saw Henry Rollins' Spoken Word on Saturday you'd understand.

Nothing too much to report on since last time. We're trying to get the music side right for the next show, and are still meandering in the general direction of Demoville (only general direction, mind you).
Friday we're still on at The Villa in Bournemouth, but don't have a van yet as Mario's trying to talk a friend into driving....

Yup, just a reminder about tonight. Alienistic Studios @ Arch 11, Gales Gardens E2 (Bethnal Green tube < 2 mins). Doors 9ish, cost freeish, we're on lateish.
Unlike we may have said, you cannot bring your own drink. Looks like they're making their cash out of beer rather then an entrance fee.
Ought to be interesting as our entire set has a number of special features. May be good, may be rubbish! ;-D

All talk and no trousers

Well, things are still a little disrupted at the moment. A certain amout of babbling has been done regarding the forthcoming recording, but very little actual action. Now... I've heard that somewhere before.
On the other hand (or foot), last night saw the completion of the latest portion of FoUR-powered lunacy. Well, the music, anyway. We need to tighten it up lots, and the lyrics completed, but it's pretty much there. I can't really describe it, but it starts very speed metal and ends, well, ends.

Been a few weeks...

Due to us needing a bit of a break (plus a variety of the usual accidents, arguements, and all things FoUR) I've not got round to updating this site. There are additions to do to the lyrics section, and also changes to the gigs and photos needed (I see that the Chardmeister has posted a couple of new pix, but I think we can post some more!)....
Ahem, anyway, the Sanctum show on 22/10 has been cancelled. Pity, as I really like watching BIR in full flight! I will confirm our schedule & post shortly, as above.
On the music front, we're still writing a track that's taken months, but we're moving again after a block of whale-like proportions. It'll get finished one day, honest. We are also looking at 2 recording options, and have a target date of the end of the month to get it together. More news to come on that one! :-)
Right, I'm off. If anyone's interested in our lovely t-shirts (pic to follow :-P) drop one of us an email. I have a lot of 'large' ones, and a few other sizes, sitting on my floor. Apparently Frank from Million Dead wore one on stage last week, so we get Emo scene points, which I find very very entertaining! Heeheehee, cheers Frank! ;-)
